Cristina

Dupa cum am mai spus, primul pas e înscrierea in GPhC. Durează cam 6 luni. In timpul asta te pregătești serios pentru acreditările despre care s-a tot vorbit: Repeat Dispensing, Emergency contraception, Substance Use and Misuse, New Medicine Service -NMS, Medicine Use Review-MUR . Fara astea nu ai nici o șansa sa lucrezi in vreo farmacie.
Iti dai seama ca si aici e suprasaturatie in orice domeniu.

Doar daca s-au schimbat regulile in ultimii doi ani .

@Tunde

Multumesc!

Buna,

Multumesc frumos!

O zi minunata!

 Reporter:

1.      Since when are you involved in the Pharmaceutical area and you work in a closed contact with Pharmacists and their problems?

 EPhEU- fondator organization reprezentat:

I started my career in the VAAÖ in 2001.

2.      Do you consider that Pharmacists are open in terms of mobility, participation to meetings, or other new things in medicine or alternative medicine? Can you give me an example from the countries or people you know or met? (EU area)

Yes, I think they are very interested in international work as there are many associations that work international e.g. the FIP, the PGEU, the EAHP and last but not least the EPhEU. EPhEU of which the VAAÖ is a founder member, is an European trade union organization. It was founded in 2012 (the first General Assembly took place in Brussels in June 2012) to deal with the problems of the European employed pharmacist in public pharmacies and to compare their situation in the several countries of Europe and to help colleagues that want to work in one of the member states. At the moment unions or employed pharmacist associations of Germany, France, United Kingdom, Belgium and Croatia are members.

3.      You are representing the employed pharmacists, do you consider easy to make this way in having your own pharmacy from the cases you know? Or do you think, that in this days it is worthy? (EU area)

Well, I think the current Austrian “Konzessionssystem” is one of the best systems in Europe, because it secures strong and healthy pharmacies in which the owner can earn a good deal of money and that supports good working places for employed pharmacist, PKA and other staff, although “the way to your own pharmacy” is a bit longer or more difficult than in other countries.

If you find a good (that means economical high potential) site for your future pharmacy, half the way is done. For all the authority´s thing you can have partners to do the work for you. For example your lawyer for the concession. Or the VAAÖ with a special seminar for those who want to have their own pharmacy (“Der – weite – Weg in die Selbstständigkeit”).

4.      Can you tell me some of the problems you have seen or speak about, which are important for the employed pharmacists or they are fighting about in this period?

The main problem at the moment is that drugs are a special good, not comparable to other consumer goods like books, PC´s or jewelry. So drugs should be dealt by a pharmacist only, because he/she is the only specialist that can give the patients the necessary information about medication. Therefor we have to fight against the trend to sell drugs everywhere: in supermarkets, drugstores or gas-stations.

5.      Do you consider important, for the future that pharmacists should look for other possibility outside of pharmacy or independent(collaboration), some of them are making Nutrition, Mineral or Floral Therapy courses, which can be also expensive, in order to offer this services in Pharmacy or some of them outside. It is an extension of the Pharmacy services or a desire to work independently for various reasons? Can you give me some example in general in EU-countries?

As the main tasks of the pharmacists have changed at the beginning of the 20th century from “the producer” to “the dealer” of drugs, so it will change now from “the dealer” to a health-manager, where the consultation of pharmacist is the main task. But not only consultation is very important, there are further steps to take. We should develop a career-plan for employed pharmacists like in the UK. There are pharmacists who vaccine and make blood tests and finally those who design the medication completely on their own (which drug, in which form, which power, etc.) after the physicians did the diagnosis.

For this reason every supplementary degree is useful for a new pharmacist career.

6.      How you see the work mobility in EU for employed pharmacist, and what are you doing in this direction right now?

Work mobility for employed pharmacists in Europe is not as widespread as it could be in 2014 tough EU regulations. The main problem is of course the language but this could be dealt easily. To give colleagues the chance to collect working experience in other EU countries was one of the reasons why EPhEU was founded.

1024x768

1.      Can you give some example of representing the employed pharmacists in order to obtain their rights or to improve their conditions to work? In trail or some disagreement you have lately worked on or know about?

In Austria the employed pharmacists are well and fairly paid for their work. That was and is one of the main tasks of the VAAÖ, the trade union for employed pharmacists in Austria. Another point is the improvement of working conditions. Here, much could be done. For example some colleagues have severe night-shifts with more than 100 patients, they should go home after a night duty. Because doing this for several years will ruin their health although they do not feel it now.

2.      From what you know already about Romania, what do you think are the most important steps to the evolution of the employed pharmacist ? And some advice for the owners of pharmacy.

First, the Romanian pharmacist - employed or self-employed - should unite. If they don´t they have to fight alone, alone for their salary, alone for their working conditions. The employed pharmacists should establish a trade union, an union with lawyers, with people who have experience in that kind of work, with lobbyists in Bucharest and Brussels, with people who can protect them; a real defense association (like the PDA in the UK). Out of this “defense” association there should evolve a real trade union that has the right to negotiate collective agreements. The ÖGB and the VAAÖ could give some support.

3.      Thank you for you time, a last word for our readers, which are also from medical area?

Keep in mind that “you are not alone”. There are many colleagues (namely all Romanian employed pharmacists) that have the same interests, wishes and fears as you. Together you can change something!

Multumesc frumos Cristina! 🙂

Am fost azi la DSP. Pe langa actele obisnuite se pare ca mai am nevoie si de o adeverinta de la locul de munca care sa demonstreze vechimea in munca, desi am terminat in 2008 si o cerere catre MS sa-mi trimita Certificatul in UK.

Saptamana viitoare mai fac o vizita DSP-ului Laugh

Ma îndoiesc ca acestea sunt trimise in limba romana, corespondenta , mai mult ca sigur se face, in acest caz, in limba engleză . Oricum, asta nu e problema ta.
Mult succes!
